Could you please give a hand with this too? I would like to add sound to the index page of my website. Something like in this website:

Is that very difficult to do? Could you explain me how to do it or point me to some place where it is explained?

Please, do the 'net a favor and do NOT put auto-loading music on your web site ! It is one of THE most annoying things you can do. People like to listen to their own music while they surf, they do NOT want to have your music choice interfering with their own.

So true! These sites that has an auto-play music feature on their sites are very annoying! I instantly close sites that has this kind of thing on their pages.

Can I cast my vote here for not messing with my techno! Ctrl+W was made for sites that mess with my audio!

Oh, I'm yelling. See how just the suggestion of messing with my music can instantly give a strong first impression? Is that really the impression you want people to have?

This gives me an idea -- browsers should be equipped with a mute. Then sites which infringe on my music wouldn't be successful at it. Anyone know of such a plugin? ****, I think I'll go look for one.

If I am surfing, and come across a site that auto-loads music, or voice, or even birds, tweeting softly in the background then I close that window immediately. It's not that I dislike the music or sound effects... it's more like hate.
If a site forces music or sound to come out of my speakers, then my first impression is "God... How tacky is that."
My second impression is "There hast to be a virus, trojan or adware somewhere on this page."

I really hate sites with music installed in them. Makes me jump sometimes.
