CMS for photo albums.


I started a site to hold all of my photos. It was phpnuke based with the gallery2 album for the photos. I liked this back end because it gave me the ability to:
- share with others (and let them post images into guest albums).
- push the photos to printing sites
- link to other sites
- post messages
- leave comments
etc...

i haven't visited this configuration side of things since i started the site 3 years ago, and i had to take it down for a while. now i am rebuilding.

should i just stay with the phpnuke and gallery2 for the site, or look into others like Wordpress, Joomla, etc.. are there any other good CMS systems out there for photos, sharing, etc ???

Personally i like wordpress but then everyone has a favourite.
I would say use what you are comfortable with... if you like the phpnuke site and are happy with the results and it works well then stick with it...

I agree,if you are fine with PHPnuke then stick with it and if you think using another CMS like Wordpress or Joomla will work better then go for it...
