Hello, everybody!

I had my site reviewed, and the results were sad...
So, I started drafting new design, and just keep hitting a wall. Usually, I have millions of ideas in my head, but when it comes to my own site, they go missing! Go figure.

My existing site:
www.tarawebdesigns.com

My draft:
www.test.tarawebdesigns.com

I'm hoping to get some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Thanks in advance.

Hello Audraoc,

Personally I like the first website the best, it's beautiful! The second link is all right but certainly not like the first one. I don't know what kind of criticisms you were receiving on the first link, however you do have some coding errors which can be corrected on the first link.

One thing one has to keep in mind, we all have different opinions, ideas about how to construct a web page, different opinions on designs, colors and graphics. The last thing, you will never be able to please everybody, so you please yourself and what is comfortable and pleasing for you.

I did read the comments on the web review, they weren't that harsh or discouraging. Roy Dixon said you won't be able to please everyone, because we all have different ideas and opinions.

I liked the second design except for the logo. That would work good if it wasn't such a distraction, and was 'cleaner'. I'm sure you know what I mean by that.

Thanks, guys, for the kind word!
I do realize I can't please everyone, and my own style has to be shown, nevertheless, knowing what other people see and think is priceless to me.
I'm little confused about logo comment, I actually like it. And I did get good feedback about it. If it's about "palette" part, I am working on it.

Still, I can't wait to hear more opinions.

P.S. I was asking for the reviews in the different forum as well and it wasn't pretty.

Simple, If you go back to school you will fill in the missing blanks you getting. After all, school is where you learn, right?

Good Luck!
