Hello, I manage a small development firm in Northern Michigan.. Lately, we have been toying with the idea of creating a client content gathering system using drupal.

My question is, does anyone know if there is something out there like this that I can just purchase?

These are the essential specs:

1. Developer logs in and specifies a new client/project. Then defines the amount of content needed through a wireframe, or charector limit.

2. Client logs in to a very simple user interface. Types the content needed and uploads pictures.

3. A few addition features that would be nice are the ability to see a tree-view sitemap... the ability to private label... automatic email updates...

I know it sounds similar to Protoshare, but the mid-level user has too much access, and the reviewer can't add content. Not to mention its pretty darn expensive for even a 10 user.

Then theres Jumpchart, which is very close too, but it is too simplistic and doesn't quite offer the control over the required content.

I am aware of a few more, but none that fit the bill. They all seem to be for colaboration between developers/designers... not between developers and clients.

Does anyone know if this product exists

Sorry you didn't get a response! That happens from time to time. You could try posting a similar in the php section since this is more php related.

If you are not looking for something like basecamp (http://www.basecamphq.com) then I am not sure of a complete plug-in for Drupal that does this? I don't use Drupal much though I know you can create custom fields for uploading and such and allow only certain users access to certain pages.

Otherwise just make it in php from scratch? Secure login and a simple form for uploading shouldn't be too bad.

Good luck!
