I doubt they will remake it in a different "platform". That would require to strip this thing down and basically start over since each existing CMS kind of has their own way of doing templates, database queries, etc.
I think they should fix the issues that are bothering you, but I think a lot of it is still usable.
What are you most unhappy with?
Does the custom CMS not work well?
If it is just a matter of user functionality, then ask them for those issues to be fixed. Possibly get some written feedback from your customers who have complained about the site.
IMO - It is unfortunate they used flash at all since you wanted control with a CMS. Most of what they did could have been done with jQuery or the like.
On a side note, I have built custom kitchens and furniture for 18 years(now I do web design) and your company does very nice work.
