I want to learn all I need to know about how to develop websites for use inside mobile/cell phones.

My current skill is developed quite well for PC/Laptop type websites with HTML/CSS/JS.

I do understand that the mobile phones use a HTML based type of thing, but I want to know the details.

+Are there any online information sources which deal with 'mobile phone only' detail.

+Any hints or tips you would like to advise me on about this.

+Given I would be doing the websites like I do all the others, in Notepad, and test them in Firefox for Windows, are there anything I should look out for during this testing?

Any and all advise would be nice. Even if it is not for just me, but for also to be seen by our other fellow webmaster-talk members.

Do the mobile devices support plain HTML webpages?

I do understand that one would need to have it to work on a much smaller screen and other things, but would or should plain and simple HTML work on them?

ALL browsers, no matter how small, use HTML.

If you are looking to redirect your mobile page I found this php code to be very helpful:

http://www.pcmechanix.ca/mobile_redirect.htm

You can test it out by entering this url in to your mobile phone:

I hope it helps
