yeah, since Bioshock 2 should be coming out this year (just saw the trailer)
I thought it would be a top knotch idea to make a website for a Bioshock 2 website center / forum / gaming center.

In it would be:

CMS for users, custom CMS for admins and super-admins:

for the users, there would be a listing of their thread posts, along with options on what they want to do with it, like delete it, edit, go to, and also it would show status, and you have the option of organizing by views, posts, or date. Also messaging, commenting ability, ect...

Admins have user features, plus monitoring. They can mark the users who seem suspicious and would be under a panel under their user CP. Also they have options for thread room monitoring and thread delete / edit / basics thread control ability. Admins only have jurisdiction in the forum

Super-Admins of course have all privliges of the site, in control, visual on home, and monitoring systems for what is going on and all that.

PhPBB Custom forum design layout based on Bioshock (outside and in the buildings)
Interactive modules
User accounts with mailing system, and their accounts tie in with the PhPBB forum for registration.
Ajax registration form, and a captcha that actually specifies if it is case sensitive or not.

and more!

The concept behind the design of the site is of course the game it self, different characters may spice up different pages. (I've decided to use a rosie or big daddy for the home page because they are epic win, and I don't want to put big sister on there... Yet...) and so the site will have a similar appeal in the color scheme with the dark aquas and swampy dark greens.

Other parts of the site conclude of:

merchandise e-commerce store
Links to buy the game
release notifications for things like game guides, updates, and packs (if any)
screenshot / video gallery with rating system
and other stuff.

OKAY... So, there is no way in hell that I would be able to do this myself, but I was thinking about asking some friends of mine to help me with it. The site would be with:

XHTML, XML, PHP / MySQL, Ajax / jQuery, and some Flash.
The main site design would be following a 960 Design style. The forum will be basic layout, but with nice visuals.

So, with time aside, and the fact that I would need one kickass of a server to run this thing... What do you think of this idea?
I just came up with it this morning xD
I already started designing the template in Photoshop CS4 and I'm working on it as we speak.
