I have 1 issue with IE, it seems IE 8 is different from IE 6 the way it displays.

The error is in the css with the margins and paddings.

Does anyone know any css hacks?

IE8 is far more standards-compliant than IE6 and while IE8 is not bug free, the old hacks for IE6 should not be needed for IE8. IE8 should render margins and padding the same way Firefox does.

I have not really had an issue with IE 8 prior to this issue. IE6 I do have issues with.

QuirksMode is no longer maintained, so it's doubtful it has any info on IE8 at all - positioniseverything.net is a better resource and it IS maintained.

Thanks Lady N Red, the issue was actually figured out by using the website given above.

Not sure why as there was no code except for IE 6 and IE 7. Possible browser error, I have not updated IE in a long while.
