For some reason, I just can not think of the color(s) to use for this design. I have everything on it done except for my navbar and right column color(s). You can see what spots I am talking about. They are the orange places. Those are the places where I need some great color scheme advice. I previously used darkblue, but this is for a contest, and he said he wanted a color scheme like that of http://99designs.com. Can anyone help and think of some color(s) you think would be good in place of the orange? Right now the orange is too bold in my opinion.

Any feedback is appreciated Here is the image:

Eric, head over to kuler.adobe.com, tons of color schemes or you can work up your own based on the colors you have to work with.

There is too much orange from what I see and you missing purple in it from 99designs. I would try to accommodate purple into because it seems the client may want purple and orange.

If you are stuck on color schemes, Colour Lovers is one of the sites I go to when I need to find color schemes.

I do wish they would have given the hex codes for the Kuler page on adobes site. It was pain having to use colorzilla to get them Thanks for the links everyone. I got it now.

To get the color of anything on your screen in many formats I use Pixie by Nattyware very simple, that's all it does, and has copy shortcuts built in.

Here are a few more links for color pallets or inspiration.

I would recommend that you take a look at some templates over at template monster or dream templates, find colors that you like and and see if they work on your template. If not, another useful source I have found is colourlovers.com or something to that effect as they have thousands of color palettes/patterns that you can choose from for free.

Just paid a visit to your site and I must say that it's well organized, doesn't look too busy and the color scheme used is eye-catchy! Pretty dynamic overall in my opinion.
