Hey all,
I'm new to the forum, and semi-new to web design (35 trying to catch up to the 15 years old). Anyways, I have a website that I built ( www.mh-53pavelow.com), that looks ok (according to the folks that use it, but it isn't designed very well. What I did was built one page (the main page) initially using CSS with DreamweaverMX, but then switched to FP2003. To make all the other pages have the same banner, and left and right panels, I just copied the page and changed the main part. This of course is not exactly user friendly for when something changes in those left and right panels, because I then have to make the change to ALL the pages, since they are merely copies. I didn't use nested frames, because I didn't want to have each section have it's own scroll bar, I only want one for the entire page. I know there is a way to make 1 template per say, of a left panel/navbar (it's not really a navbar, as you will see if you visit the site), so that I can use it for each page, but only have to update one piece and it will apply to all the pages that have that banner or panel (div tag, frame, or whatever you want to call it).
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
PaveFE
