Ok, what I have are two cells one with a picture in the first column and text in the second. they are set on fixed width and sizes are correct. Firefox and NS can view it correctly but in IE the column to the right of the picture resizes itself and makes the cell with the picture wider than what I designed it. Thus squishing the text in the other column. Without pasting code here can someone just give me some pointers on why this would happen? I've had this problem in the past but I get around it by placing the two cells within a table. What I have now is cells above and below these two cells. Now if I delete this picture then the cell shows correctly. That is what confuses me when I open IE and look at the source code it acturally changed the size of the cell.

thanks,

Yer, there's probably something slightly wrong in the code. IE is so precise it's like that sometimes.

Ok, I have found the problem. If I have text above or below the cell in question that word wraps, then it causes the problem but if I have a <BR> then its ok. Thanks for your help.
