i dont expect you to teach me but what skill do i need to learn and what book should i get to learn that skill.

What i want is the content updated by ranking automatically.
like what amazon does when you say "sort by rank". They dont go through and change EVERY page when the add a new book and it goes to the #1 spot.

Seems to me you have a lot to go through, but in case you are technically trained already, at least to some extent, what you need shouldn't be hard at all.

What do you mean by auto updates? Automatically aggregates content from other sites and update your own database on a timely manner of do you just mean a CMS?

Sorting by ranking or anything else is simply achievable by a SQL query. It's absolutely doable. But first I think you need more training than these to get even started.
