Hi Guys,

As an old Dos head used to REM and in Widows scripts user using a '
I find the method one has to use to enter a comment or to disable a line of code in css very tedious

<!-- This takes ages to enter -->

Is there no other way ? I like experiment and being able to disable a line is great.

I wonder if we could put pressure on WC3 to consider using a simple " like in scripts etc.

Are you using windows?

If so download this program called texter, http://lifehacker.com/238306/lifehac...texter-windows, so you can make it so whenever you type C and then press tab you it will write the comment box for you.

Also while coding you can just copy and paste an empty comment and just keep reusing it.

And that is NOT a valid way to do comments in a CSS file !!!
The PROPER way to do comments in CSS is like this:

/* this is my comment */

That is the EXACT same method used in most, if not all, scripting languages.

For the record, if you used an editor that would let you set up a macro-type thing, like TopStyle, then it wouldn't take long at all. In TopStyle I highlight the block that I want to comment out and hit CTRL+M !!
