I'm not so sure if they are based in the UK - maybe the owner is but I get the feeling they outsource their work based on the wording and style of the website.

If you want a turnkey solution then there are plenty of companies based in London - go to yell.com and search the London area - places such as Soho/Holborn/Docklands/Old Street are populated with strong IT companies

I have no personal experience with them but I have heard some great things about http://www.crearedesign.co.uk/ (UK based)

They must be good at SEO if they show up on page 1 for "web design". Also they do not outsource their work.
