I am in the process of creating a new layout for my website, a table layout and the table is on autostretch but the table and doesnt touch the sides or top of the internet browser.

I have attached a picture to show you what I mean. Any suggestions for how I can make the table strech all the way across and touch the sides of the browser would be gratefully appreciated.

Set the body padding and margins to 0

This hasn't seemed to work, there are still gaps at the top and side of screen.

At the top of this page the webmaster talk log is surrounded by blue, how do they get the blue to reach the very end of the screen? Is this using a table or layer layout?

I would say if you reduce body padding to zero as well as margins to zero you will easily get what you need. You can remove the gaps easily...

there are still gaps at the top and side of screen.

Maximise your browser window they will probably go away.
