Do they not do any boosting in search results to sites that people spend a lot of time on, or a lot of people go to? Do they flag you if you get too many bounce? Like I said, i personaly have no idea, mabey i should go ask this in the SEO forums if i really want to know.

Right! So you're under this latest misconception that somehow search engines know all about the visitors to every single page on every single site on the Internet and "boost" the pages with most visitors.

I wish I knew how such a ridiculous, non-sensical idea gets spread around as a fact!

I check with chrome, firefox, opera, safari on my computer, when I am done with the website I check it with browsershots.org,

I find this software helpful, it installs multiple versions of internet explorer - it isnt compatable with vista tho

+1... It's good to check on a variety of browsers to eliminate any hickups.

I don't think automating it is a good idea. Manually is still the best, but time consuming. I test most of my sites at work, parents house etc as well. Even in the same broswer I get different results. It's a good learning experience

there are many way to check site but I always check with Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome , Opera

How do you install more than one version of a browser say ie 7 and 8 it only lets me install on.

Also am on a mac so to test IE i duel boot in to XP

Well said. I do the same thing with Google Analytics data - my primary focus is to get my sites working perfectly for a majority of the users, but I won't spend to much time fighting tiny issues for obscure browsers that my visitors hardly ever use.

I think check with multi browser, it will give you better view and new ways to improve by showing from different angles

It's an interesting approach. I commonly see unexceptional views on the subject but yours it's written in a pretty unusual fashion. Surely, I will revisit your website for additional info.

I check my site on multiple browsers. I got em all installed in my pc.

I really only check in IE8 , Latest firefox and sometimes chrome..

If all 3 of those work then it will probably work in older stuff.

If not, Its not a massive issue.
