How would I go about making it so a user can go to there page log in, then be able to upload pictures on there profile so that others can see it?

I am experimenting with a site for models to be able to have a profile and be able to go to there page and add/update/change there content.

So I think I have found that I need to use a server-side language like php or asp,.. which I have never done..

and i found this tutorial http://www.reconn.us/content/view/30/51/ is this all I need?
I dont see the code to put in the page that I want the image to be posted to..

Edit: Or can I use this somehow? "<input type="hidden" name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="500" />
< input type="file" />"

Why reinvent the wheel?

depending on what werverside code you have available there are many CMS tools around.

<edit>
I only wrote my own 'cos there wasn't one available in ASP that did what I wanted

I think you need to slow down and not get too excited lol.

That's the mistake I made a few years ago by learning PHP before HTML! Uurggghhhhh what a mess that website was *shudders*

I'm not giving out the URL on here for obvious reasons

I have just had a client wanting to be able to edit his site and nearly told him it was not possible unless he had money to burn. This seems a great compromise, the only problem is I now he will want to add new pictures and pages and not just change exsisting. I’m gonna try and see if he’ll give it a go as I know for a fact that he’ll soon get board of updating it himself.

yes, if its applicable. because the client knows exact things of his services. once the client added content then u can change or modify the content as per requirements. CMS is best one
