Please look at my website http://www.thai-discovery.com I feel that it looks too boring. Can someone suggest some ideas to improve the looks?

yes i agree its really boring site...change the font colors and font themes to make more attractive...make a good eye catchy banner

Simply changing the colour of the black text will make a difference. But I think you should start by fixing the left vertical menu - the sub menus are not showing up properly for me. (I'm using IE7 to view it atm - don't judge me, it's not my laptop

)

I didn't feel your site is boring. the left menu is working properly with me (using mozilla firefox). I would just suggest you change the black backcolor to a sky blue. I guess it will add some bright light to the page, and it will go pretty well with the photos in it. because as you know, there has to be a harmony among colors for the eye to relax, and likes the overall look of your page. The website is not bad, maybe another graphic/colours in the center colum will be better...... try to work on that ...

Thanks all, Artphotoasia, I like your nave bar on the left, I will do one simular to that but different colour and size.
Yes I need to work on the middle column, I will experiement with different styles/colours/whatever

You are welcome to do.... use ''a'' and ''li'' tag for the menù but carefull with IE6 and IE7

I would say that its not boring just needs more doing with the graphics as people have said maybe a sunset background would be nice as going with the theme of thialand bright vibrant colours would work well instead of cold blue let me know what you think to that if you need any help il gladly try
