Hey guys!

I'm new to these forums and by examination this place seems like it can be really useful. I am in the midst of creating a website on Dreamweaver CS3 from a layout I made using Photoshop. I have sliced the layers and imported them on to Dreamweaver, and then I have tried to make the content area editable so I can add text. I have looked up so many tutorials on the Internet, some of them say I make a div and then set the background as the picture, but then on my browsers, which Safari and Firefox, the background doesn't show at all.

Basically, how could I make an area on my layout, in the body section where I can add text?

Can you upload your file and a screenshot of of your jpg so we can see it?

If the image isn't showing then it's probably not being linked to properly. Double check your links and also your image file location (if it is in the correct directory; if it isn't linked to the local computer but the file server).
