I want to know if my idea for a website is too big of an undertaking to consider attempting by myself. I very little experience at web design but want to build a VERY simple 1-2 page site for use on my iPhone. I want a single page form with 5-6 fields for me to input data. Two fields would be dropdown lists, two others would be radio buttons and the last would be the date. I then want that data to save to a database from which the second page (or even the lower part of the first) would contain several statistics and values calculated from the data I am compiling.

Any input and thoughts are much appreciated!

To build that all i think you really need to know is some html, php and how to build a database.

If you are good at photoshop you could definitely make yourself a nice site to compliment it. You wouldn't have to code much if you use the online psd to html/css converters.

I don't think it would be too much trouble for you. There are a few wordpress themes and now plugins to help you create a nice mobile site.
