Hey Designers!
If I have to make you design a web site, static and around 10 pages, how much do you charge and how long do you take for completing it?

Who creates and fills in the content?
Who supplies the graphics?
Are the ten pages all the same layout?
Is it a template/layout for a CMS?

etc etc

I only ever really create ONE page for a website no matter how big it is.

The total cost would just be of designing as there is no high fandoo coding involved .It totally depends upon the topic on which you want to design.

Nicesurf, that's because high fandoo coding doesn't come cheap. It is time consuming and requires the latest flanger technology. That's why it is expensive but well worth it!

Have you read Build Internet's Pricing Bootcamp? I'm not at all affiliated with them, but I think it is an incredibly excellent set of articles.

Man, I wouldn't call myself an expert at this, but there are wayyy cheaper methods.
I know <removed> charges a little less than $100 to create php, mysql and javascript websites.
There are others out there that do the same so you just have to look around. Doesn't make sense for you to be paying more than $500 for your website.

I would charge $2000 for two weeks of my work... however, I no longer work for anyone but myself. :]

I also wouldn't call web page arena experts either. 2 sets of <html> body and head tags? Light grey text on grey boxes? Tabled layout? and a price list? how 90s of you.. I mean them...

Quality is the reason why somebody would pay $500+.

The price would depend on the features required by you in the website.
