What should I do with these menus?

I've got a little bit of a problem with site navigation. My site has two columns of navigation on the right side for customers to use. This has been working very well and many folks have complimented us on how easy it is to get to exactly what they wanted. Our customers aren't web 2.0 people, but often seniors and non-computer folk.

Anyhow, my problem is that as our inventory expands these menus are becoming too long. Also, they take up valuable width on the website.

What do you recommend I replace them with? I'm not a skilled coder but can work with some javascript if needed.

Well when i view your site with 800 x 600 screen resolution the content of your site is overlapping.

And with the links use a drop down type menu, use one where they click on the category topic and it shows the links in that category.
