Apart putting everything in a flash movie, a java applet or an activeX application no.
And even there, you can disassemble it partially, and get back parts (sometimes even the totality) of the code.

So, if you put in the the web, then it is public an can be copied.

Short answer - no

Move on, don't worry about!

You could put the actual code inside an Iframe and that would protect, to some degree, the code on your website. However, if someone that is experienced wants your code, they will almost always get it.

If someone is experienced enough to get your code and put it to good use, it is highly unlikely that he or she even needs it.

Well put, don't worry so much about it. You are always going to have those few people that will try to steal your code, and honestly, theres not a whole lot you can do.

As long as someone isn't completely stealing your whole site I wouldn't worry about it. I always take code from other sites and adapt it, its how a lot of people learn.
