Hey guys,

I am working on my website template skills and trying to advance them to the next level. I enter contests here and there to keep my skills sharpened aside from working on real contracts. I entered a contest with about 80 entries for a template design and the winner receives $500.00 smackers.

I am in the top spot with a few trailing closely behind. So I need your help!

Please take a look below and let me know if you feel anything can be improved. Please keep in mind, I didn't do the logo (I don't care for it much) but the contest holder requires it. Also, the ship at the top will be flash and sail across. I think I am going to change the life tube icon to a cargo ship icon.

Besides that, I would love your feedback and I will update you on if I won or not in a few days.

The big empty space is sort of for the viewer to not feel closed in when they first arrive on the page. Also the contest holder had very little content for the first page.

Just a query, how it will be adjusted if the number of menu items increase especially for Offers and Wanted sections.

The empty area could use some content, good for search engine to find a page instead of just a bunch of links.

You're totally correct. I have no idea, the contest holder provided the content and how it wanted it laid-out. He was quite adamant on it. Maybe he will add more content later.

Thanks Advanox, so far my contest situation looks good. I updated the design with a few new icons.

change the bullets of the sub-titles instead of showing double arrows its look like old style... give it some solid color bold arrow mark with circle background. and give line-height:16px;

i think that part will look like some how better...

What you need is a big "kraken" sea monster coming out of the sea and trying to sink the ship

tbh, i cant think of anything else that could be done to make it look nicer

Thanks for your advice. Syed changed the arrows to bold but no circle because it was a bit too much going on and the CH wanted to keep it simple, but it is an improvement over the double-arrow and widened the line height.

Lynus, that would be awesome but I don't think the CH would like it lol.

The empty space below the white arched line reminds me of a globe. Maybe you could play that up a bit and outline a continent or something in that empty area...you know like focusing on what ever part of the world the cargo company operates in.
