Just wondering what other people do. Say you've done work for a big client in the past - Coke or AT&T for example. Now you don't work for the company any more but you want to add this work to the portfolio.

Do you just use a snapshot of the work with images & all? Can you do that?

Or do you use an alternate image that you have the rights to use & link to the actual files?

Any input appreciated.

Unless your former company/employer has specifically told you not to do so - you should be okay to showcase your work.

I always give full disclosure and say something like some of these images were created when I worked with a xyz company, and some I've done after I went out on my own in 2004, etc. I think as long as you're honest about it, your previous company can't really hold anything against you.
