Is there an efficient way of managing FTP accounts which allows synchronisation over the net to other computers?

For example;

When I get a new project, I have to punch in the FTP information into my Notepad++ and my CuteFTP on my PC but then sometimes, I need to use my laptop so I also need to do the same on my laptop.

It doesn't sound too bad at first but it does get rather tedious and sometimes I have to look for the email to find the ftp account info and so it becomes a nuisance sometimes.

I just want to have a FTP program that will update an online source so when I work on my PC - my laptop automatically reads it and downloads the site into its FTP system

Does a system exist?

I just use an ASP website and a MySql database to store site usernames and passwords.
