Have a customer that wants to put a price list up for each individual customer (Reseller) he has and password protect the price list. Problem is I don't know how to set it up so he can do it on his own without trouble or crashing the site. He would have to add the customer which I assume would be the folder and add the price list in it right? How do I automate something like that???
Any help would be very much apprecitated.

Use a CMS

I use Wordpress as my CMS when clients want to do things on their own. It takes a bit more time to set it up in the first place, but they should pay for that initial set up so they can do it by themselves the next time.

CMS is a good choice.
