Hello to all,

I am in the middle of designing my marketing web site. One thing I am wrestling with is the use of CAPTCHA codes. When do I need to use or worry about this?

We do have a form to fill out on the front page for a brochure request. We also will have a newsletter sign up request as well.

I don't want to run into a situation where I am clearning out my inbox of SPAM looking for a good lead or sale. I ran into that before at another company I worked for.

Any help or direction would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Dave

Just put them on any kind of form where you ONLY want humans that are really interested in what lies behind it.

I have a form on the front page. Would it be 'poor practice' to have people fill in the form, then after hitting submit, it takes you to a page where you have to enter the CAPTCHA code?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Dave
