How much it will cost to design a website ? For example 5 pages.. May be you know cheap webdesign studios with portfolio ?

I suppose it depends what you want on the site.

Is it a basic Html page with no javascript?
Will it have javascript and any funky images?
does the webmaster have to make the images for your site? Or do you have them already?
is there going to be any server side or clever stuff ( ie: php based? )

If you want a "decent" looking professional website, Then you will be looking at least £1000
That is assume you dont want a site that looks like a child made it or some 3rd rate rubbish "design company"

I don't think you can make that kind of a broad statement at all. What professionals charge varies a great deal within a given area and from one place to another depending on the market.

There are also people out there calling themselves 'professionals' who have no business building sites, let alone charging anyone money. A great deal of it depends on what you want the site to be, what kind of functionality you want it to have etc.

Best thing to do is check out the going rates in your area, for the kind of site you want and go from there.

If you want cheap just download a free template, in Thailand with all content supplied to the web designer for a basic 5 page website its between $300 and $500.

If it's only 5 pages, you could probably go with a template of sorts, there are a lot of options that might fit your needs. Check out templatemonster.com or some of the wordpress themes. They are usually reasonably priced and if you don't know enough to customize them you could hire someone to do that portion for you.

I personally think if you want to save money, just buy 1 page and change the content yourself. You can easily link via HTML the pages and add in the content.

I think most .PSD templates go for $50-$200 depending on labor. Then there is the cost of coding which could be extensive. My host also suggested having the designer slice and code because they are more aware of the design. Great suggestion if you ask me.

Of course this only applied to web designers with set prices. Many web design companies base a project cost on the profit that the client stands to receive from the website.

I charge anywhere from $500 to $50,000 depending on the job.

Seriously.. For that money I'd rather learn it myself, and then make my own site.

i use to make websites from webdesigner and i almost get 15 pages package of $1500 which is enough... not high not low

If you have at least some experience in it, or have someone to help you, and you don't want it so unique, then it may cost you a little or even nothing
