I would say WordPress is far easy than Joomla.

I also support Joomla. Its really strong and you do not need anything else. The easiest way to use the theme is to find a free theme, which is close to you will be given to design and edit the title, a few things here and there to make it look almost identical.

Well, in case you don't need any special features for your site and don't want to pay something for that, then use Wordpress

Use them both!!
Setup your main site in Joomla! and start working on the content, create good quality content.
In a sub directory, or a subdomain, install WordPress and start blogging, using the keywords you also use for your website.
WordPress with its create SEF functions and categories will bring you traffic, this traffic reflects to your main domain.
And with the content on your main website, you work to keep your visitors captured and make them come back.

totally depends on you really.

Joomla offers much more flexibility than WP, but that comes at a price: it's a real pain to use. It's far easier to template Joomla than WP tho, especially for really specific things. WP at the end of the day is blogging software, and if you want it to do other things, be prepared for a steep learning curve.

I like the fact that Joomla has more advanced features and modules of WordPress. But the learning curve is much steeper for Joomla.

the end-user certainly has a much harder time learning to use Joomla, whereas Wordpress is so much easier, if you can use word, you can use Wordpress.

However, templating Joomla is a walk in the park compared to Wordpress!
