I'm looking to see if anyone has any creative ways to create a site map. Keeping in mind that search engines need to be able to pick up on it.

Search engines will read either an html or xml based site map.

They read php as well right?
No, they absolutely do not.

If you're using WordPress then XML-Sitemap Generator is good.

I preferred XML site map for Google relevancy.. HTML is old one so XML is best for now a time..

Xml sitemap is really helpful from SEO perspective. For indexing your each individual page in Google it's better to have a xml sitemap for your site and after creating that one you must submit it in Google webmaster tools.

there is a lot of site map site just check at google and dont forget to give link to your sitemap in robot.txt file
