I have just joined the Forum, and i wish to build my own website. I require the support of everybody to enable me achieve my goal.

Good luck. I have learned alot since I have been here. I try and help as much as possible although im not an expert in web design by no means. I am actually designing my first website right now out of the previous 5 I have owned so its a real learning experiance. I am pretty familiar with SEO and different marketing techniques and good with ways to monetize websites. So if you ever need help, let me know.

I would suggest you to go with wordpress. It's easy and fully automated. You can learn about installing wordpress from YouTube or Google (I prefer YouTube). Wordpress is also search engine friendly and Google index them quickly.

Searching template and modifying it, going to be a bit headache in start. I am not saying that you should not learn it.

Start with wordpress and keep learning about dream weaver and HTML. I am saying HTML because sometime, when you modify template its good to have some knowledge about HTML.

You need the following things:
1) Domain name and space
2) coding / scripting knowledge and appropriate software
3) designing knowledge and right graphic design software
4) File uploading from server and site map building.
If you lack any of these, it is better to contact a good web designer.

I don't know any of these things you listed but I want to learn it

First of all you cleared that what type of website you want to make ,there are two type of sites you can build.
Static and Dynamic
In static site you can't change any data from server side.
and in dynamic you can change ,update delete any type of modification on your site
