Hi, I am setting up a website. Not for profit, an interest group. Anyway I am struggling to work out how to get it all sorted being a musician (sticks buttons and strings no worries) and I type in the address and get the directory. I asked tech support how to get the site to load up with the address and got this response... 2010-08-20 07:47:20 by Technical Support to elcap Hello, Thank you for contacting our Technical Support Department. You will have to link your main site page via an index.html or index.php file depending on your decision. That is how you will set the script that you would like to use as a main script for your site to load instantly as you open your domain via a browser. Best Regards So I get I have to link my site but this script stuff is throwing me? I sort of worked out fuzzielime but went to joomala and couldnt make heads nor tails of it.... Thanks in advance and sorry for the noob Q

While we are an interest group, we have a good angle and have approached businesses for sponsorship so there could be the good possibility of us being able to offer $ for someone to give us a hand. If there is someone willing to work something out with us then we would be appreciative.

Perhaps a link to your site would help?

Your "home" page needs to be called "index.htm", "index.html" or "index.php".

I agree with sassy, a link site would definitely a great help, in that way customers will be have a detailed information about the services/products that you're offering.

Ok, what you need to do is go to your main directory. What files are there? A directory list would be helpful (if you have any information that you do not want the public to see on your site just erase it using paint or something)

Edit: Or possibly, a link?
