I have a website, which is built exclusively for mobile devices, and naturally I have gotten myself to check my website on one of those online testers to check your website for support of mobile devices.

The one I use, has examples of 5 mobile phone brands, and shows you how the website would look in any of these websites.

PROBLEMS I AM FACING are...
Each of the brands do the website differently. There are minor issues that I can live with, BUT major things such as...
....it just will not support borders. I like to have a border and a small padding around all of my links.
....in another it will only show black text. When I want a dark background.

ALSO
The site checker tells me that I have a form which does not contain a submit button. Yet, I have the following inside a tag 'button type="submit" '

QUESTIONS I WISH TO ASK ARE
Do the actural mobile phones do the same as the simulation?
What should I do to ensure consistent rendering such as getting the correct text-color that I want.

The website renders perfectly on my computer under firefox.

THE LINK
Here is the link to what I am talking about.

Can anyone help?

They are probably pretty close. Unfortunately, because the devices vary so widely in their support of css and other elements, you just are not going to get everything the way you want it on every device.

Make sure you understand css specificity, and then find out what each device does and does not support.

iPhone is by far the market leader in mobile, Android is coming up fast. The other phones just don't have the support in their OS for much css.

Where online would I be best to go to, in order to find a simulator for the iPhone?

That is to test how my website would look in an iPhone while I am using my computer.
