not really. what i am thinking of i have seen a few places. i have seen sites that have sound (apparently embedded) with a button that prompts you "turn off sound here" or something similar.

is there anyway to set up a page like that in frontpage?

thanks for your time.

you will probably need to find a program which allows you to do this, they are v. cheap or sometimes you can find them for free. All you do is upload the program via FTP and then insert the HTML where appropriate in your page. And that can be done in Frontpage.

Are you thinking of flash sites? Because the sound isn't embedded as such.

By allowing people to list to background sound and having the function to switch it off and on it will use up quite a bit of Bandwidth.

I suggest you don't use FrontPage to make a website (I found that out the hard way).
