Okay,

What i've got is, a site made using Fireworks. This is okay but the site has no "content" as such as fireworks is all pictures. Does anyone know a way of having "content" in the html code but so the customers cannot see it, only the search engines. I know of things like "cloaking" but the search engines don't like that much.

Any advise would be great.

Thanks

so in other words you wish to trick the search engines...

hmm its pretty dificult, but if your creative you can probably do it.

Mo Money made a good suggestion. you can view it here: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/showth...&threadid=1905

well, fireworks is an image editor, useful enough for getting a basic page layout design concept together but you really need to use a html editor to start turning these into real web pages, putting in html content etc....so, your Dreamweavers, Frontpages of the world will help you here.

not sure why you want to trick search engines; sounds like you want to hide content on screen but have it there to be picked up on by searchbots...try making text colour same as background colour...look at mo money's tip also

cloaking is really a separate issue entirely...that's more to do with hiding real server path URL of a webpage by cloaking with a purchased domain name but without actually giving the web vendor, whoever that is, the site to host...lots of folks who get free web hosting with geocities, tripod & others may cloak their sites in this manner...basically a cheap way to a professional looking hosting set-up

check out http://www.registersite.com/services.nihtml#cloaking

all the best, Damascus
