I am looking for some best designed Landing pages or tips which can help me.
I need to design one landing page for web design service which can increase the conversion rate.

Landing pages in general are a bad idea. Why make visitors go to a landing page when what they really want is the CONTENT on your site?? Enhance the seo value of your site's content first, as well as other overall factors such as general usability.

Landing pages are a neccessity for PPC campaigns, and the type of campaign can and does influence the style of the page.

Why? Why can't the home page be the landing page? Adding another extraneous page JUST for some ad- it's just bad usability. This isn't web design for people/users.. sounds like it's just more junk pages for something other than the actual site visitors. Since I do not use such PPC campaigns.. enlighten me

Landing pages for a PPC campaign are essential.

The campaigns I've run in the past used a variety of landing pages and the results were far better than just sending them through to your homepage. It's great for targeting specific markets, and you can really get your message across much quicker as you can drop your site's design, lose the navigation and search areas, for example, and just focus on the offer at hand.

We also looked into people seeing a different landing page depending on the search terms they used to find a site. Unfortunately I left the company before they implemented it so I'm not sure how that worked out, but the mocks I did basically featured a different sales pitch depending on the keywords.

Because PPC landing pages need to be the same as the "one page sales pitch sites" are. They are the "hard sell" approach.
Basically the entire page is geared around the "call to action" where all you want from the visitor is to head off down the "buy now", "sign up now" path.

An "organic search" page is a "soft sell" approach where you are looking to get the visitor to "trust" the site.


PPC landing pages should also be blocked from being crawled by search engines as well.
