I am fairly new to the webmaster world and am having a little troublefinding something. I would like to include an affiliate program in my site just to see if I can get oone going but do not want to pay for the software to do it just in case it bombs. I can't afford a $300 test but need longer than a 30 day trial run to see how things will work out. Does anybody know how I would go about giving people who sign up for my affiliate program their own unique URL with affiliate Id attached so I will knowwhere my sales came from in case it does work out? Is there free software that I can use to create unique URL's? How would I go about doing this? Leighmans terms are best since I am not too overwhelmingly knowlegeable about all of the technical terms. Remember I am a "Newbie" LOL Thanks

There are lot of things you need to know before offering people money for things they will do for your business, lots of things. I am afraid writing an affiliate system 'good one' might cost you lots more than your estimated $300 as that needs work with IPN and many many other things.
