Color plays a central role in the Web site of the impact of one, and as such should be examined carefully. According to a website, with different shades of the same color, called the monolithic approach is the best choice for professional color schemes site.
Well , its a most important thing in any website designer to represent the theme of site with Perfect colors..
For example for personal or girls accessories related site we can choose pink shades.....
But It sites looks great in its black combination ....
There is no best color, but there are some good guidelines. Red is said to be the best for adsense but I have no idea if thats true. But most importantly don't use to many colors, two or three is best, and make sure to use colors that match well (this is hard for me cause I'm color blind, but you can use the color wheel from a color theory class and pick a few that are complimentary). Most importantly make sure the text you use is easy to read on whatever background you choose cause nothing makes people leave faster than getting a headache trying to read your type.

Hi, its been a long time since i posted on this forum!
Color definitely does make a difference.. and like someone said I would steer clear of black. I had a website in blue, then changed it to black and sales dropped off considerably. I then changed to silver and sales picked up again. I'm not 100% sure but it looked as though black was turning some people off from making a sale.
The importance of color in website is very much. You should choose light color for background and dark color for font.If you want to get more idea about color then visit some web sites so that you can imaging that which type of colors are suitable.
Use the comparison page elements, so text and graphics feel more vibrant and easier to read the page. If you choose a color background or color type, to ensure sufficient contrast to make your web accessibility.
