Hi Guys,

This is my first posting.

Anyone know ... How Do I Copy My Minisite Into an eBay Auction Listing?

I want to transfer this webpage here ---->
www .aceraspirelaptops.com/ebaylaptop2160.html

Onto an eBay listing?

I've tried copying the source HTML from the 'live & hosted' minisite & pasting it into the HTML tab on eBay but it leaves the sides of the minisite off it?

I have a header image, 2 small sides & a footer image that were sliced up in Photoshop.

I then created my webpage from this photoshop slicing in Front Page.

I then uploaded the completed webpage here again ---->

www aceraspirelaptops.com/ebaylaptop2160.html

As you can see the red box or square is complete, but when I upload the HTML to my eBay listing ALL the images are there but the sides aren't long enough & break up the red square?

Can anyone help?

I can take a screen photo of what I mean if you like?

Gary

Hi Chric,

The website/page fits but the sides aren't continuing on like they do on the normal webpage here:

www .aceraspirelaptops.com/ebaylaptop2160.html

The page fits perfectly on eBay but the sides are missing along the top & bottom of each side but the image that SHOULD continue along the pages length doesn't but it should do & I don't know why?

Unless we actually SEE the problem neither do we.

What unpleasant replies I've got back from my query from ChrisHirst?

I don't know how he's gotten away with being so rude in a forum for so long - I would have thought that this high quality forum would 'boot' these kind of people off it?

I am new to this & have asked my question pleasantly yet I got 2 rude replies from ChrisHirst.

He never even mentioned my name or said Hi or tried to help me in any way & didn't even understand or read properly what I actually wrote.

Shame on you ChrisHirst.

If I were to owner of the forum you wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes speaking to people like you have done.

I don't see anything offensive whatsoever in Chris's posts to you. You asked a question, and he gave you on-point feedback he was not being rude. Just because his answers aren't 'touchy-feely-fuzzy' does not mean he's being rude!

First off, you said you set things up using Front Page - that is your first and most grievous mistake. FP will ONLY create code that works correctly in ONE browser - IE. Besides that, FP is DEAD and buried and there are better solutions out there -- including one from MS.

Secondly, you gave a link to a page, but I see nothing wrong with that page in Firefox. Is that your problem page? If so, it's fine in Firefox, so what browser are you using where you see this problem????
