Hello all, I'm new to this forum and kinda new to webdesign aswell. I registered a business called Ulatan Web Enterprises LLC early 2008.

I have decided I want to create a advertising/webdesign company for businesses and clients. However I want to know how many portfolio websites I should create? Also I'm running out of ideas what to create aswell, and was hoping for suggestions

My current portfolios

www ulawe.com
www overclock.in

By January I plan to create more websites, and add them to my portfolio. I was wondering if doing it right.

Regards, jeffrey

Another problem I have is concentration and ideas. When I have an idea it's hard to implement because I seem to always procrastinate. Do you have any tips to keep myself from procrastinating?

If you are making a portfolio geared towards getting a job then yes, it should look very professional and business like. You want your potential clients to look at your work and feel as if it could sell their product or service.

Yes, but It's not for a Job, but to show other clients of my work. I'm unsure of how many I need to create, but it's overloading my servers due to traffic and bandwidth limitation of my servers.

You don't need to have a huge portfolio, I would say at least around 5 different sites to show what you can do.

When most people think of a portfolio, they imagine an artist with a huge box document with samples of their work inside. For web designers portfolio is slightly different for web designers.

Basic aspects of a Web portfolio are:

• The screen shots of your work.
• The description of work performed on projects.
• Links to online documents or copies.
• On rare occasions, color prints of these projects.
• Add your job better than the bond portfolio for the job
• Description of the work site
