I'm not a developer and don't know alot of html so I proceeded to search for website templates. There's a ton of them out there.

Well I went with BoxedArt.com. They seemed to have some really good site templates. However.. I have Macromedia Dreamweaver 2004 and photoshop elelments. The problem is I can't edit anything. I take the images and open them in photoshop and it shows the layer being locked and I cant change the text.

Now Boxed art shows using photoshop deluxe but I shouldn't have to use just that program should I?

Please help!

If anyone also knows of a good place I can get site templates for that I can upload links and such from commission junction, please let me know.

Thanks for all your help.

i personally use fireworks and freehand more but what version of photoshop are you using?
rare times i've used templates was when i started out and that was to use em in background and then build version up myself to see what can be done....
i would suggest opening up in maybe fireworks cos some templates can be and then you can pick what you want.
other than that i don't know of the site but maybe they can help. i can take a look at the files if you want to but i don't think it would be version - altho not being photoshop queen couldn't say.
building a website is often best done like lego - build simple and then build up - instant websites are okay but generally lead to that 'template' look or to you having a site you haven't got a clue about how to do anything with.
sorry not overly helpful.

thank you for your response. Actually I'm using Photoshop elements. But I'm also using Macromedia Dream Weaver. Basically I just want a stile with very little graphics and mostly text links for affiliates and commission stuff. Just one step up from parking my names on sedo.

thanks!
