Hi,

I bought a flash template so in theory all I need to do is edit the template. I've edited the .xml files but am now stuck as when I try to load the index.html it appears as a blank black page. Do i need to edit the fla or swf files? I wasn't aware i had to amend any of these and I can't open any of them on my computer?

Thanks!

I'm sorry.. I hope you didn't pay a lot for it because it will be invisible to search engines!

There really sn't any way any of us could GUESS as to what the problem is w/o a link or ALL of the code.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it most likely that you did not load macromedia obj codebase on your page.

It should be something like the following...

Code:
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" width="776" height="470" id="movie">

		<param name="movie" value="MyFile.swf">

		<param name="quality" value="high" />

		<param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF" />

	<embed src="MyFile.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" width="776" height="470" name="movie" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/"></embed>

</object>
