I am a complete noob to the website thing. I just made my first website - nothing fancy just something to put stupid pictures of my friends and whatnot. I want to put a video on a page but it is just not working. I am using Insert > Media > Plugin. It will not allow me to insert wmv files. It says it encounters a problem when I try to preview it in DW and closes and when I preview it in the browser all I see is the window and the control buttons but nothing plays. As a result of this I decided to give up and try to convert the wmv to avi and use quicktime. This has worked when I convert half of the wmv (just to test it out) but when I convert the whole thing and preview it all I get is a gray box with a play button and time bar. The sound plays but there is no video. Very frustrating. Sorry for the long post - any suggestions?!? please help!
