Hi,

I would like to give the visitors to my site the ability to leave comments, ask questions about products, shipping options etc, perhaps on the homepage as well as pages within the site. Like a chat box.
What is the easiest way to do this, user friendly wise ? I have been told by a friend that it can get a bit complicated but there is freeware out there which is quite straight forward to use.

Not sure if that one is what I want. All I need is somewhere for visitors to leave a message, ask a question etc. Have never done this before so don't really know what I want.

an obvious solution would be to build your site in wordpress, and allow comments on a certain page that you want people to ask questions on.

If possible, you can add something like Disqus to your page but make sure to use CAPTCHA or something else to keep out spammers and trolls.

You could refer to some hosting companies homepage, there are many contact methon on it. Such as livechat or ticket. Customer can feel free to talk with you.

You can use a feedback form provided by http://kontactr.com/ for free, of course. What I like about it is that you can change it just the way you want, it is fully customizable. Plus it has antispam captcha. See how it looks like here removed AGAIN
