btw Japanese web pages are read left to right.
Books and magazines are sometimes printed top-to-bottom
starting in the top right corner and going to the bottom left.
But HTML technology (thank god) for the moment at least
doesn't allow that.

Arabic, Farsi and Hebrew are RTL languages.

i didn't put it there, it was on the website already. all i did was move the logo and nav

Hey Chris.

My point was that HTML doesnt (yet) allow the top-to-bottom direction of displaying text. As I mentioned, a lot of Japanese books/magazines are printed right-to-left AND top-to-bottom.

CSS certainly does allow RTL (right-to-left).
If I'm ever forced into doing one of those, god help me.

That's interesting, I have never seen any Japanese magazines so I didn't realise that. It could certainly make an interesting project for a japanese language CMS.

Is that the same for Kanji and Hiragana?
