I have just started useing Dreamweaver mx 2004 and it asks for my ftp details so ive put it in were it says and it keeps coming up that it cannot be found? Can anyone help?

In the Site Definition Page (under sites, manage sites, edit) enter something like:

1) How do you connect? FTP
2) What is the host name or FTP address? www.yourdomainname.com - notice, no http....
3) What folder do you want to store your files in? Leave blank if you are storing your files in the root
4) FTP login ID: Your FTP ID
5) FTP password: Your FTP password
6) Use Secure FTP: Probably not...

If this doesn't work you should probably call your web host for support.
