Hi there..
Im a frontpage user, I've been making this website: http://basesurge.vaio-hosting.com/main.php using Microsoft Frontpage. I recently got dreamweaver and trying to get used to it so i can start using it more often. But its really hard to use when i open up the pages that were made with frontpage in dreamweaver.. everything is messed up! like the tables are scattered, theres bits n pieces on the left and right and one big gap in the middle with the rest of the page on each side, so whats up with that? is there a way that this can be fixed?... i want edit the page as if i was viewing the page on a browser..
Thnkyou.. ^^;

oh my, I just open the page in my Dreamweaver...
Frankly it is bad code.
Frontpage is little kinder to such than Dreamweaver.

First you have two Head tags in the body code,
<a/> is not correct code, try </a> insteed, for exempel.
But dosnīt your Dreamweaver mark in yellow the incorrect code?
You have to take it from there.

(Sorry my bad english)

This is really because frontpage creates very bad code that is not compliant with nearly anything else.

Just only 90% of the browsers

And if you look at the homepage you will see that a lots of the code is from other places and not created in Frontpage.

But I agree start editing

I think your confused. IE is only one browser that comprises 90% of the market.

But now I am confused.
I dont think Frontpage created bad code. Even if I myself prefer DW or Notepad.
The error in the homepage above isnīt created by FP. Ok FP let it go without any warning.
About IE and 90% I meant that code even if it is bad IE show it.

IE is still about 90% world wide, but going down. It was 96% for a year ago I think.

(But my bad English could perhaps make some misunderstanding)
