I'm curious to know what type of ad tracking any of you use. More specifically, banner tracking. I'm about to begin a few campaigns and I'd like to get some real time stats on clicks etc.

Anyone know of a good(simple) script or resource for this?

Does this script have the ability to track external banners? I haven't checked it out yet but what I need is to run some ads on external websites and track their clicks, the amounts etc.

only if you place the code in their page. If you dont have access to their site here is a trick i use. I load the banner code on one of my local pages and when the banner shows on my page i just copy the shortcut and use that link to track the hits. you just need to create a campain for each site you post your link on if you want a more detailed report. I am sure there is an easy way to do it but I am just to lazy to look for another good banner program. You weblog should also let you know who is sending hits your way.

Thanks all, at the moment I am using my log files/stats. Then again, I'm redesigning my entire site which is going to include 2 more advertisement areas...neatly and discreetly of course.

I've looked some more into this and without either paying for a third party script or having it remotely hosted, it goes beyond what I'm looking for. Which isn't a bad thing per-se, but I'm just getting into it so I have a bit more time. Hopefully, I'll have the site done by the end of April.....
