Hi

I need some help with form desining. WOuld appreciate if you could answer any of the questions below:

a) I am designing a simple order form. Upon submit I want the form sent to my email automatically. If I use mailto function then when the submit button is clicked it opens up a mail browser and then I have to submit through the mail browser to submit the form. I want to avoid this so that my customers upon clicking the submit button, the mail is sent. How do I code it? ( I am using my own design in Dreamweaver)


PHPForm Generator Questions

a)I tried using phpformgenerator (fantastico) A form is generated. Where do I go from there? Do I create a link from my webpage to the address of the form generated? If I do this, the form page design is different from my website.

b)Can I check where the addresses of the form page generated in my cpanel? I couldnt find it - Maybe I am not looking at the right place!

c) Is there any other free (open source) script which is better?

Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated. I am feeling very tensed making this simple thing work!

I had a major headache trying to figure out how to do form processing when I was working on my moms site so I totally understand what you are going through. You can make your form in dreamweaver, but you wont be able to use the mailto function. The processing script I was successful with is at http://www.noviceform.com/
I would look at that site and see if you can figure it out. If you need more help, let me know and I will do my best.
